The Meath inter

split over two nights, it was the turn of the u9,11,13,&16 juvenile age groups. Again we
had some
great performances from all age groups and we came away with 6nr first

The u9s most of whom were in action for the first time performed very well on the night with 4 of the girls making the u9 60m final. Caoimhe Fitzsimons finished 2nd in the final and also won the girls u9 long jump. We were strong again in the sprint events, Aimee Doherty, Matthew Buckley, Emma Coroner and Brian Kiernan all winning their event, Brian Kiernan did the double winning the u16 high jump also. Rachel McPartlin and Emma Coroner finished 2nd and 3rd in the girls u13 high jump.
Thanks to all parents and
athletes who made the trip on the night. Day 2 of the league will take place on April 30th at Claremont Stadium, Navan.
