We are fundraising for a much needed defibrillator for the club, the cost of a defibrillator is Approximately €2,000 this is a large amount of money but a necessary piece of life saving equipment for all our members. We would love your help to make this a successful night.

World Masters Indoor Championships - Daegu

Siobheal Murray, wearing the green of Ireland, was a magnificent 3rd in the high jump (1 .46M) at the world masters indoor championships in Daegu. Competition was fierce, but when the going gets tough, Siobheal always seems to rise to the occasion.



Dunboyne 4 mile road race

The club's adult section were out in force for the Dunboyne 4 mile road race. Edward Roache posted an excellent 25 mins 13 sec and was closely followed by Clodagh Fitzpatrick (26.46) and Aidan Barker (29.45) who both recorded PB's for the distance. Others to put in strong runs included Teresa Doyle, Joanne Lynch, Rachel Connolly, Emma Boshell and Laura Marshall

Lismullen 3K

Philip Marron had an excellent win over the roads in the Lismullen 3K . He led from start to finish in an impressive 9 min 21 sec in wet and blustery conditions

Best of Luck to Ratoath AC athletes in the All Ireland Indoor Championships

Ratoath Athletic Club would like to wish the VERY BEST OF LUCK to our fantastic Athletes this weekend in the All Ireland Indoor Championships and to their wonderful committed coaches, parents and supporters! First up today will be our 6 relay teams, Raffa McCaffrey will also competing in the Long jump this morning.
Tomorrow will be another busy day for our club athletes and we would like to wish the best of luck to our High Jumpers, Fionn Drummond, Cara O'Sullivan, Laura Kelly, Niamh Murray (high Jump and Shot Put) Our Sprinter in the 60metres Jed Walshe, Rafa McCaffrey and Matthew Buckley

Meath Interclub League next Wednesday 22nd March


The second day of the Meath League takes place this Wednesday in Cushinstown AC.
All U9, U11,U13,U16 club members are asked to take part in this fun event, no medals just valuable points earned for your club in the League.

National Masters indoor Championships

Siobheal Murray added yet another national title to her collection when she convincingly won the masters 50 HJ with a best 1.46 m. Siobheal also picked up bronze in the 60m sprints which is a relatively new discipline for her (9.16 sec).

John Wallace defied doctors orders to get out of his sick bed and win 3 bronze medals in the high jump (1.40m), long jump  (4.37m) and weight for distance 5.71m)

Well done to both on some excellent performances

Meath Community Games Cross Country, this Sunday 5th March @11am in Ballinacree

Registration is from 10.15 and the fee per child is €2.
Full list of events below, Medals for first 6 each events. 
First six in the under 12 and 14 events and the first 5 boys and 5 girls home in the u13 event will qualify to take part in the National Finals in Abbotstown on May 6th. All children must be under the age category as of 31st July, 2017, eg if you are running U8, then you must be under 8 years of age as of 31st July of this year.
