Can any athletes who wish to enter the u13-19 Leinster Championships on the 11th, 18 & 19th of June, please bring your entry to training this Thursday, entry €3:50 per event. Please write athletes name and events on an envelope with fee enclosed.

Hill Trials for Youth International

Both Alex Hunter and Ciaran Quinn competed today in the hill trials for the youth international scheduled for the Czech Republic on 25th June. Racing conditions were near perfect and the 4.6k run with a 400m ascent finished at Maulin. Alex made his intentions know from the gun and took the field out hard. A leading group of six were still in contention at half way with Ciaran Quinn back in 7th, running out of his skin in his inaugural hill run. The final 1500m was particularly tough and it was here that Alex pulled away to win by almost 30 sec with Ciaran Quinn holding on for  a brilliant 7th. Alex's proud parents Ann and the "legendary first leg Wicklow Way runner" Derek were on hand as he crossed the finishing line.

Little Athletics are out doors from now on, their training will take place on the grass area next to the track. Please be cautious at all time in the club car park. Note little athletics is full. If you would like to put your child on the waiting list please email ratoathathletics@gmail.com

Day 3 of the Meath League this coming Wednesday

Day 3 of the Meath League takes place this Wednesday evening in Claremont stadium Navan. We will meet on the Navan track at 6:40pm for warm up, the event will starts at 7pm sharp. 
All Ratoath AC members in age groups listed below are welcome and encouraged to take part in this fun event. Details of event listed below.

Rules:	1. Juveniles can only compete in their age group.
	2. Max. 2 events per athlete.
	3. Club’s best 20 scores to count from each leg.
	4. First 3 Clubs to medal in Section A, next 3 to medal in Section B, and so on in Sections C, D, E etc. until all Clubs classified.
	5. Maximum two attempts at each height in high jump.
	6. Club entry fee to League - €20.00
	7. Junior, Senior & Masters Field events take place at end of night

Ratoath Ac Teams for Leinster Relay Championships this Saturday May 21st at Shorline Sports Park, Charlesland Greystones.
Can all un-even age teams u9,11,13,&15 be there for 10:45am and even age teams for U10,12,14&16 for 1pm.

Directions

Shoreline Sports Park, Charlesland, Greystones. Go on M50, continue on M50, it will bring you on to N11, Take Exit 11 for Greystones on N11, go left at end of exit and then go straight through 2 roundabouts, at 3rd roundabout, take 3rd exit into Sports park. Note 5-10min walk from car park to track.
