Alex Reaches Summit

Alex Hunter was first to the summit of Slieve Donard, Newcastle, co Down today in the Irish Mountain Running Association junior trails to select an Irish team for the European championship. They will be held in Sovenia later in the year.

In deteriorating weather conditions, Alex then decided to keep going and completed the downward section of the trial to finish third - a result that will probably also gain him selection for the World junior championships in Italy on 30th July

Well done Alex
