2014 AAI National u 20 Championships

Deirdre Healy was our solitary competitor in the junior womens ( u 20) championships held at the Cork Institute of Technology.  Weather conditions were blustery but Deirdre, who has two more years in this age category, took the bronze medal with a time of 4 min 47.34 seconds which is less than a second outside her PB. The Cork city sports will be Deirdre's last track race of the season before taking a well earned break.
