Leinster Combined Pentathlon

The Leinster combined pentathlon championships were held in Navan on 29th June. This is truly an event for the tough athletes of track & field. Over the course of the day athletes had to compete in the hurdles, shot putt, long jump, high jump and last but not least an 800m. Ratoath A/C was well represented with Gareth Doyle taking silver when finishing a close second behind Ryan Carthy Walsh from Adamstown a/c in the u 15 pentathlon while Eoin Clayton narrowly missed out on a medal with a fourth place finish in the under 16 equivalent.

Congrats to both athletes on some magnificent performances.
