The Leinster Team event competition was held yesterday in Celbridge, We entered this event for the first time in a good number of years, entering a team in the boys under 9 and girls U 10 event. The competition was intense with 8 teams entered in the boys U 9 event and 15 teams entered in the girls U 10 event. The athletes were scored on their combined performance over 2 track events, 2 field events and a relay. Both teams put in terrific performances resulting in the boys U9 coming away with Silver and the girls U10 just finishing just outside the medals. Congratulations to the boys: Fionn Drummond, Kyle Witter, Marcus Zaidan and Adam Cameron and the girls: Aoife Rutherford, Ella Healy, Aimee Doherty & Ciara Coffey.
We hope to enter more teams in this event next year.
