Michael Manning Dunshaughlin 10K

The annual Dunshaughlin 10K road race took place on Saturday June 24th. Ratoath AC was very well represented with a very large team of 16 adult members - our biggest team so far this year . This marked the end of our 8 week 10K improvement plan and all the hard work paid off  .
Henry Fleming ,flying the flag for the men of Ratoath ,led the team home in a blistering time of 44:21.
Our first Woman over the line , in a dramatic finish , was Lianne Bailey in a time of 53:21 smashing her previous PB .
She was followed by Melissa Dunne (54:24), Joanne Lynch ( PB 55:25) , Michelle Doyle (55:33) ,Rachel Connolly ( PB55:57 ) , Una Smith ( 56:32) , Paula Glynn (57:50) ,Sarah Jane Hallinan (PB58:43) ,Mary Keily (59:16) ,Joyce Fitzharris (59:38), Olive Rice(1:00:54) ,Emma Scanlon (1:01:27) , Laura Marshall (1:02:22) , Jackie Doyle (1:03:07) and Joanne Kelly , who has only just returned to running following an injury, sailing over the finish line in a very respectable time and more importantly , injury free :)
Fantastic times , an amazing achievement , well done everyone .

A great night followed with a celebratory dinner and well deserved drinks . Thanks to Lianne Bailey for organising it and thanks to Russell and his team in La Bucca Ratoath for a fabulous evening .
