Ciaran Crowther 2nd in Ashbourne 1K

Ciaran Crowther finished second today in the Ashbourne 10K road race. Ciaran took it out from the start and was leading at the 7K mark. However, he was overhauled in the last 3k and finished  approximately 10 sec behind the winner in 37 mins 56 sec. Conditions were humid for running and there was a general feeling that the course was over distance so all things considered, represents fine running by Ciaran and bodes well for his upcoming cross country season
