The Cushinstown Ac indoor sports was held last Sunday the 26th
at their newly extended indoor facility. We had a very good attendance from the
club with over 30 athletes competing from u8 to u14. This was a great
experience especially for our younger athletes many of whom were competing for
the first time. The competition was of a very high standard with athletes from
all the top Meath and Louth clubs attending. The u8s &u9s showed some great
potential with Ciara Coroner and Erin O’ Reilly finishing 2nd and 3rd
in the girls u9 long jump, Katie Doherty had a great run winning the girls u8 30m,
Caoimhe Fitzsimons finished 3rd in the girls U9 60m. James Kelly

in the girls u10 60m, Aimee Doherty won the girls u11 60m, Lili O’ Connor won

day with a powerful run in the boys u13 60 with a fantastic hand time of 7.7s.
Matthew also won the boys u13 long jump. Emma Coroner and Sophie O Connor
finished 2nd and 3rd in the girls U13 long jump, Fionn
