Ratoath AC had a great turnout at this running of the 2010 Meath Cross Country Championships. We had 7 teams of 4 who all ran their very best for their Team and the Club and we as coaches are very proud of them all. We medaled in the U12 Girls and the U16 boys with the girls winning Silver and the boys Bronze, and congratulations to them for some fine running.
For the other teams most of which came just outside the medals in very strong competition it was a day which they all enjoyed as they pushed themselves to their limits in overcoming the challenges of the 500m course.
Coach Susan Marron decided on the morning to enter the ladies race and ran well over the 3km hilly course, fair play to her.
