Trim 10 miles Road Race
We had an excellent turnout for the Trim 10 miles road race today. Conditions were near perfect and as a consequence some new PB's were posted for the course. Noelle Capewell ran an impressive 1 hr 8 mins 32 sec and was followed home by Simon Watsham in 1 hr 24 mins 27 sec , Diarmuid Marron 1.24.59, Fiona Casey 1.29.52, Michelle Doyle 1.35.03, Melissa Dunne 1.39.34, Emma Boshell 1.41.02, and Laura Marshall 1.53.52. Great running by all concerned.

2017 Ratoath/Rathbeggan and Meath Community Games Schedule of events
The 2017 Ratoath/Rathbeggan and Meath
Community Games Schedule of events is as follows:
- Art, Model Making and Handwriting - bring your entries into School
and all entries will be collected from local National Schools Thursday, 9th
March, 2017. Entries must have Community Games theme. Name, Address and date of
birth on back of entries. The winners qualify to Co. Meath Community Games Art, Model
Making & Handwriting competitions in St. Seachnaill's National School,
Dunshaughlin on Saturday, 8th April, 2017 at 10am.
- Co. Meath Cross Country Athletics - Sunday, 5th March in Ballinacrea AC, Oldcastle. 11am. Turn up on the
day to run. Entry 2 euros.
- Swimming, contact Catherine 086 8466495
if you interested in County Meath Finals; Sunday, 26th March, Kells. Boys
8.30am warmup, Girls 12 noon warmup. No local swimming gala this year. Closing
date for entries to Catherine, Friday, 24th February.
- Co. Meath Gymnastics, Sunday, 2nd April @
2pm in Ashbourne. Entries to Catherine 086 8466495
- Co. Meath Table Quiz, U14 age event. Friday, 7th April @ 7pm in Wilkinstown near Slane. Turn up on the night,
Entry 2 euros per child. Team of 4. Make your own Team of 4. Must be under age
as of 31/7/17 and all from Ratoath/Rathbeggan Area.
RATOATH/RATHBEGGAN LOCAL ATHLETICS NIGHT (TRACK & FIELD
EVENTS) - Tuesday, 9th May, first race 6pm. Be there for
5.30pm.
Ratoath AC Track, Jamestown, Ratoath. Entry 2 euros
per child.
- Co. Meath Athletics Finals (Track
& Field events) for children who qualify from local event, Sunday, 11th
June, Cushinstown, Boys in the morning, Girls in the afternoon.
