Our Half Marathon starts at the entrance to Fairyhouse Race Course then out onto the flat roads of County Meath showcasing a Fast, Flat & PB focused course for participants while finishing in front of the Iconic Fairyhouse Grandstand. We have Pacers on stand-by to help you reach that PB.

Don’t think you’ll be challenging for top prizes? don’t worry, you won’t be going home empty handed. Every finisher in both events will takes home a unique T-shirt, finisher medal and goodie bag. We have loads of spot prizes and an extra bonus for our half marathon runners you have a chance to win a prize if you are the 100th ,200th 300th, 400th, 500th 600th etc.  Finisher in the half marathon to cross the line

HALF MARATHON COURSE:
Starting out at the entrance to Fairyhouse Race Course then off out on a left handed course through the flat country roads of County Meath and finishing in front of the Iconic Fairyhouse Grandstand

This is an Athletics Ireland Permit approved event

NUMBER AND T-SHIRT COLLECTION:

Number and t-shirt pick up in Race HQ at Fairyhouse racecourse
Thursday: 2-4pm
Friday: 5-9pm 

Saturday: 7:30AM -8:30AM



PACERS: (Half Marathon only)
Pacers 1:30, 1:40, 1.50, 2.00, 2.15, 2:30 

Lots to target for that PB




 








 
WATER STATIONS: (Half Marathon only)
4 water stations around the route @ Mile 3, 6, 9 and 11

Water in goodie bag and plenty available at the post race refreshment area. 



PARKING:
We have over 10,000 free parking spaces available all within the compound of Fairyhouse racecourse which means only a very short walk to race HQ and start/ finish lines  - No Hassle-

TOILETS:
Indoor toilets available in Race HQ

Portaloo’s on the course at Mile 6 outside Sweeney’s Pub, Kilbride Road - Half Marathon Half Way mark

SPECTATORS:
Spectators most welcome – view & cheer on runners coming into the finish line from the main stand also access to playground for kids.

Now famous super fans to cheer you on around the course - plus - DJ at the finish line

SPORTS MASSAGE:
Edel Daly and her team from Ratoath Sports Injury Centre will be available for a post race massage. The massage marquee can be found in race HQ

FIRST AID:
Our first aid service is provided by Meath Civil Defence to ensure your safety.

2 X Ambulances on course

RESULTS:
All results will be available after the race on www.myrunresults.com

REFRESHMENTS:
Post race refreshments will be available and ready for you when you return to race HQ this will be soup and bread roll for all finishers.

Getting to Fairyhouse by car

From the North

Follow Motorway (M1) and exit at Junction 10 and then take the signs for slane on the N51. Enter Slane and take the N 2 for Dublin, and proceed for approx 20 miles and at turn right at junction with R155 (signposted Ratoath). Forward over crossroads at Ratoath and Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the left.

From Dublin

From the City Centre take N3 towards Navan, passing Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on your left. Proceed for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath/Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.

From the West

After Enfield take Motorway (M4) Dublin. At roundabout (signposted M50 Northbound) take first exit to join Motorway (M50). Proceed through toll exiting onto N3 (Cavan/Navan). Proceed forward for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath / Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.

From the South

Take N7 towards Dublin, at Red Cow roundabout take M50 Northbound. Proceed through toll exiting onto N3 (Cavan/Navan). Proceed forward for approx. 6 miles on the new M3 and take EXIT 5 for Ratoath / Fairyhouse. Follow signs for Fairyhouse, turn right onto R155 and proceed for two miles. Fairyhouse Racecourse is located on the right.
